You’ve booked your luxury wedding planner, and wondering what happens next?
Managing our couple’s expectations is a priority for us at Conifer Events. We want you to know exactly what is involved in the wedding planning process and what is expected of you both.
STEP 1
Within the first 3 months
You’ve chosen to work with Conifer Events. First things first, we will set-up your virtual wedding consultation with one of our luxury wedding planners will be scheduled. During your consultation you’ll be introduced to aisle planner, our professional wedding planning software, where your own couples account will be set up. Your wedding planner will talk you through each area of the platform and answer any questions you may have. Your consultation is designed to gather venue preferences, guest numbers, budget and a little detail on colours, theming, and styling.
Subsequently from your consultation, your wedding planner will start your venue search, with a view to providing a first round of venue options within 3-4 weeks. Included in this round of venues will be availability, pricing, and photos/ videos. Once we have a short list of potential venues, your wedding planner will organise an in person meeting, or a virtual viewing.
The venue search is continued until we have found “the one”.
STEP 2
3-6 months
You’ve found the one, meaning your venue is booked and your date secured. Exciting! At this stage you are now free to share with your date with family and friends. Those save the dates or wedding invitations you have been eager to share can now be printed and sent to your guest list.
Your wedding planner will now start to upload to Aisle Planner a range of preferred suppliers within budget, ranging from cakes, flowers, photographers, videographers, entertainment and more.
Feel free to check out each supplier online and once your ready to book your wedding planner will prepare the paperwork for your booking.
STEP 3
6-9 months
Once your wedding suppliers are all booked in, your wedding planner will start to prepare your wedding day timeline and logistics schedule. Your wedding planner will gather all the information of what is happening on the day and put it into an organised plan. Once a detailed timeline of the wedding events is complete, your wedding planner will send this off to you for prior approval before issuing a copy to all of the wedding suppliers.
STEP 4
9 to 12 months
With only a month or two until the big day, the final phase of planning is about the final touches and on the day coordination.
If the bride or groom are travelling from overseas and are not UK citizens, now is the time to start preparing the marriage licensing and visa paperwork.
To ensure the wedding day runs smoothly and you have little stress, your planner will offer support throughout your entire day. Your wedding planner will arrive at the venue early to ensure set ups are taking place, your florals are looking stunning, and the venue is ready for guests to make their arrival. Throughout the day and evening your wedding planner will be directing guests, overseeing suppliers, and ensuring the schedule is running to time.
Your wedding planner can stay as late as required, however once the meal is served, band have started and guests are settled, they can usually nip away. Their job at this point is a success!
