THE LOCATION

Take a look inside our styled shoot at the Old Dr Bells Baths. Located in the heart of Edinburgh, Old Dr Bells Baths is a unique and luxurious venue, perfect for the modern, city wedding.

A former Victorian swimming pool, it has been beautifully renovated to create a fresh, clean backdrop, accented by traditional black pillars and banisters. It’s flooded with natural light and has impressive vaulted windows. It’s an amazing location for the contemporary couple.

THE CONCEPT

With a backdrop of white, accented with black, Old Dr Bells Baths is compatible with many colour palettes. We opted for creams and pinks but played around with traditional textures to bring a new, fresh look to our wedding.

Our handsome groom wore a charming kilt complete with sporran, sgian dubh, flashes of tartan, and ghillie brogues from Cameron Ross Formal Hire.

Our lovely bridesmaid wore a soft blush pink dress and carried a bouquet that subtly complimented the overall theme and had some champagne in the sun with her four legged friend.

COUPLE 1

For our first couple we wanted to embody the spring or summer wedding. At Old Dr Bells baths you’re a stone’s throw from the heart of Edinburgh city centre, complete with castle and city sounds. The exterior is quaint yet modern and the stone work really stands out in the sunshine.

Look at our stunning couple, sharing their first glance at one another and exchanging their vows in the courtyard.
